PROGRAMS
The Sullivan Free Library offers a variety of programs throughout the year for adults and children. Please check our Calendar for upcoming events and call us for further details.
ADULT PROGRAMS:
Book discussion groups meet at both libraries. Bridgeport and Chittenango host groups which read popular fiction. Chittenango also hosts a group which reads more classic selections. Check here for our upcoming selections.
Movies aimed at an adult audience (with ratings from PG through R) are shown Wednesdays at 1pm in the Community Room in Chittenango and on Fridays at 2pm in the Community Room in Bridgeport. Due to licensing agreements, we are unable to post the titles of the movies on our website. If you would like to know what movie is being shown, please call the library.
The library also hosts a summer reading program for adults. Please contact the staff at Bridgeport (633-2253) or Chittenango (687-6331) for further information.
We have a quilting group that meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 10am, and knitting/crocheting groups that meet every Thursday at 1pm and every Wednesday at 6pm in Chittenango.
Bridgeport hosts a Writers’ group that usually meets the 4th Wednesday of the month. Please call for time and date.
Discussions on special topics such as genealogy, estate planning, author talks, local history and art shows are held in each library. Please check our calendar for upcoming programs.
