LIBRARY INFO & HOW-TOS
BOARD MEETING INFO – The Board of Trustees for the Sullivan Free Library generally meets on the third Tuesday of the month. The meetings usually alternate between our two library buildings. Please call ahead to make sure there has not been a last minute change in meeting time or place.
BOOK GROUP INFO – Book discussion groups meet at both libraries. Bridgeport and Chittenango host groups which read popular fiction. Chittenango also hosts a group which reads more classic selections. Click the BOOK GROUP INFO link to see what we are reading.
BOOKSTORE AND ONLINE BOOKSTORE – Visit Twice Sold Tales, the used bookstore that is open whenever the Chittenango building is open. We have great bargains on gently used books, DVDs, and audiobooks. Most are only $1-2! If you are looking for a particular title, check out our online bookstore to see if we have it. If we do, email sullivanbooks@midyork.org or call Chittenango, so we can set it aside for you. Thanks for supporting the library!
Celebrate a birthday or anniversary, recognize the graduate, or show appreciation for a retiree, all through the Sullivan Free Library Gifts Program. It’s something unique and special for your honoree and for the library. Cash gifts as memorials or for other purposes are accepted for the purchase of library materials. While the general subject or type of material may be specified by the donor, professional staff will select the actual titles based on library need. Your donation will be used to purchase adult, teen or children’s materials in the subject area of your interest. A bookplate will be added to each new item, and a note acknowledging the gift will also be sent. Contact library with your request.
