RESERVE A MEETING ROOM

The Sullivan Free Library has two meeting rooms available in Chittenango and one in Bridgeport that can be reserved ahead of time on a first-come/first served basis.

CHITTENANGO MEETING ROOM

Both the Community Room and the Pink Room in Chittenango are available at no charge for non-profit organizations. For private parties, there is a $50 room charge. For events at which you will be charging an admission and/or selling things, there is a charge of $50, plus 10% of the admission fee/profits.

The Community Room, which is the most in-demand, is accessible to those with disabilities, equipped with tables and chairs, a projector and screen, DVD player, video player, and sound system. There is also a small sink, refrigerator, microwave, and several large coffee-makers available. You must supply your own coffee, cups, plates, etc. The room capacity is limited to 70 people.

The Pink Room is used primarily for small meetings of up to a dozen people or so, and is equipped with tables and chairs, a television and DVD player.

BRIDGEPORT MEETING ROOM

The  meeting room is accessible to those with disabilities, and is equipped with tables and chairs, a projector and computer hook-up, and DVD player. There is also a sink, refrigerator, and a microwave. You must supply your own coffee maker, coffee, and paper products. The room capacity is approximately 40 people.

HOW TO RESERVE A ROOM

To reserve a room, call the library or come in during our regular hours. Please have a few possible dates for your meeting so that we may be better able to accommodate you. The library reserves the right to move groups from one space to another at any time, and use of the rooms for library programs takes precedence over other requests for space.

PLEASE NOTE: Failure to clean up after your meeting and/or to return the room to its original set-up can result in a refusal of room use in the future. When your meeting is scheduled for the end of the day, the room must be cleaned up, returned to its original set up and everyone must be out of the building by closing time. (If your meeting is to run before or after our normal business hours,  arrangements must be made IN ADVANCE.)
