In general, an item may be renewed two times as long as it isn’t a “new” item, or one that someone else has placed a hold against. You can renew your items by phone by calling the library at 687-6331 or 633-2253 during regular hours.
Or, if you’d like, you can renew the item online using the catalog.
- Go to the catalog , which you can access through the CATALOG link to the right, and log in with your library card number (without the ‘A’) and your PIN (the last four digits of your phone number).
- Click on My Account, and then select the “Checkouts” tab. You should see a list of all the materials currently on your card.
- Select the materials you’d like to renew, and then click Renew at the bottom or top of your list. A confirmation screen will appear. Select ‘Yes’ and then the page will refresh. The item will have a new due date if the renewal was successful.
PLEASE NOTE: Items that we had to get for you from outside the MidYork System through Interlibrary Loan may not be able to be renewed. Please let the library know as soon as you suspect that you might need a renewal on one of these.
Call the library during regular business hours if you are having trouble or if your renewal was unsuccessful. Please do not leave a message on our machine about renewals.
