Volunteer tutors needed

at the Sullivan Free Library in Chittenango!

Passion and positivity are the main requirements! Anyone with a strong commitment to helping others improve their reading, writing, and math skills are welcome. By volunteering two or three hours per week, you can give an adult the skills they need to become a successful worker, parent, or citizen. Both tutors and learners find this rewarding: it changes lives!

Our learners (18+ years) are seeking their High School Equivalency diploma or English as a Second Language assistance. Training is provided before you would begin tutoring, as is continued guidance. All materials are provided and tutoring takes place at your local library. If you have a willingness to give, are dependable, and friendly, we would love to speak with you about becoming a tutor. Learners are waiting for you now.

Please contact Tara Truett:  ttruett@midyork.org or call 315-345-1468.
