Book discussion groups meet
at both libraries. Bridgeport and Chittenango host groups which read
popular fiction and Chittenango also hosts a group which reads more classic
selections. Check here
for our upcoming selections.
Adults (18+) can meet to
play Scrabble® at
the library. Bridgeport players meet on Mondays at 6pm
and Fridays at 2:30pm. Contact the staff at Bridgeport
(633-2253) for details. Chittenango players meet generally on the first
Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm and the second Sunday at 1pm when the
library is open on Sundays. Players are welcome to bring drinks and
snacks for themselves or to share with the group. No children, please,
as they can disrupt the players' concentration.
Special topics,
such as genealogy, estate planning, author talks, local history and art
shows are held in each library. Please check our calendar
for upcoming
programs.
